Named for the goddess of calm waters. Arms raised, hair gathered, her back a single sweeping curve. Painted in acrylic with long fluid strokes of teal and deep blue, the figure feels pulled by something below, the way a swimmer feels the water move first. The bare cream ground leaves her weightless. Part of the Daughters of the Sea series.
