Thalassa

Named for the ancient spirit of the sea itself. Seated and turned away, she rests in her own quiet. Painted in acrylic, the back is built from broken planes of deep blue and softer teal, catching light along the spine and shoulder. The pale ground gives her the stillness of early morning sea, calm on the surface and endlessly deep beneath. Part of the Daughters of the Sea series.
