Athena
SoldNamed for the goddess born where sea meets sky. She lifts her arms above her head, unfolding the way a wave opens before it breaks. Acrylic on canvas, painted in restless strokes of cobalt and cerulean against clean white, so the figure seems suspended in light rather than placed in a room. The brushwork keeps her moving, half woman, half water. Part of the Daughters of the Sea series.
